Welcome

Welcome to Eleveneses in Africa!

With the exception of Scientific reports (HIV-Pr base-pair substitution from guanine to cytosine at codon 54 gives rise to major emtracitabine and D4T resistance) I've not really written since my angst-ridden teenage diary years (it's just, like, sooooo unfair and no-one understands me. I feel, like, so alone. And I don't think he fancies me).

Evan hasn't written since, as a worldy-wise uni student using the pseudonym Captain Planet, he started his erotic historical love story set in Patagonia (the Patagonian hills swelled up behind the wooden cottage like a pair of virgin's breasts. The large-breasted virgin cried out: "oh, take me now, sir...do with me as you will, with your strong, firm...").

So apologies if this blog does not blossom the literary delight you anticipated. It's highly unlikely be considered for the Blogger version of the Booker Prize. And do not expect fancy long words, unless you count "Aaaarghthere'saliontryingtogetintothetentwhatthehellshallwedo??!!!"

We'll be adding to this site whenever we can, but obviously will be limited by the quality of the WiFi connection in the Kalahari. What we aim to do is keep you - if not entertained - then at least informed of our progress around Southern Africa.

Right, we'd better get packing...

Ellen
